A good example of this is Reverse Sorting. Where traditional sorting systems sort and remove rejected product from the main stream, we reverse the logic. The reject stream is routed through the Xcalibur, which is specifically configured to recover precisely the good product.
Applying existing technology more intelligently
Whatever remains after that goes to the Glide Cutting System. There, too, the most usable product is recovered for the main line.
This approach not only yields higher output but also increases the efficiency of the Glides. The Glide has a limited capacity. Because they therefore only need to process truly defective material, their capacity is optimally utilized and the recovery rate increases. That works much more efficiently!
