Project Technician
Job role
Build, overhaul, and install smart sorting machines for the food processing industry.Job description
What will you be doing?
As a Project Technician at OptiServe in Maarheeze, you and a colleague will be responsible for our workshop and the complete process surrounding our optical sorting machines. You will work independently on building, overhauling, and installing our self-developed machines, both in the workshop and on-site at customer locations. You ensure that everything is technically sound before a system is commissioned.
In addition to the hands-on work, this role also includes engineering tasks. You contribute ideas for technical solutions and work on modifications and improvements for our machines. Knowledge of or experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, or Creo is considered a strong plus.
No two days are the same: one day you may be fully assembling a machine, the next you could be overhauling an existing system or preparing an installation for transport and delivery. You enjoy a hands-on approach, think in solutions, and are confident making independent decisions.
